Recently I bought some drawing supplies and decided I'd get back into doing some sketching. It took me about 2 weeks between buying the stuff and getting the courage / effort up to give it a go. I used to draw a lot as a youngster but sort of grew out of it / realised I wasn't any good.
I had a look through some tattoo magazines (since that's sort of what I want to draw) and found some simple designs, first a pair of swallows then a rose.

Want to draw more now. Don't think they turned out toooo badly for my first attempts in years.
